LOOP's NBA Predictions

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday. Today, we have something simple for you guys. Many of us in LOOP actively follow basketball, more specifically the NBA. Those who are tapped in will know the season recently ended on the 13th. In preparation for what could be one of the scrappiest post-seasons, we thought it would be fun to go through, make our predictions, and give some thoughts regarding teams. Two disclaimers before jumping in, we are not analysts nor do we claim to be. Some commentary may be "casual" and that is okay. Lastly, some of these brackets were made before the play-in.

We also have a special mini segment from none other then Ham Sandwich. He had somethings related to the scene that he wanted to talk about. If you are interested in reading about that you can find it below the brackets. Without further ado let’s get straight into it.

Blax’s Bracket & Thoughts

Minnesota fan, do not count us out. West conference is definitely more stacked and interesting than the East, but the Knicks Pistons series looks to be a scrappy dogfight that I will be watching earnestly.

Cole’s Bracket & Thoughts

I had in first round Lakers Wolves going 7, rockets warriors/grizz 7, 2nd round thunder clippers going 7, cavs Celtics going 7.

Cavs win assuming they don’t colossal choke, Pistons are a dark horse team w something to prove

Karo’s Bracket & Thoughts

I think the warriors could destroy a lot of peoples pick ems including mine. If they go against the rockets I think they would destroy them pretty handedly. I am not a believer in the rockets or Jalen green. I do think they also have potential to beat the thunder but that's about it for the dark horse.

As a Knicks fan I’m heavily interested in just seeing what we can do in the series versus the Celtics. I am hoping they prove me wrong.
